SpEd Forms: Recent improvements (MN)

General:

1. When sending a student to a new local case manager, the drop down list of case managers is now ordered alphabetically.
2. The "MARSS" button has been removed from the student's "Edit Setup" page. You can access MARSS records through the "General Ed" tab.
3. When viewing a "Custom Report", teachers can select students they manage or students for whom they are on the team.
4. If no resident district is chosen, the resident serving will be defaulted to the serving district.
5. "Early childhood Special Education (ECSE)" has been added to the 2008-09 Forms Menu and the following forms have been moved to this menu:
- "Referral for Screening/Evaluation Birth to Age 3"
- "Prior Written Notice (ECSE) Part C and Part B"
- "Procedural Safeguards Notice - Part C (Infants and Toddlers)"
- "ECSE Child Outcomes Summary".
6. The "Serving school" drop down will now populate for Opera 10 users.
7. The "Work with students" page now has a tab to display "Special education" or "General education" students.
8. For the resident district, the options "9998: Non-Minnesota (no reciprocity)" or "9999: Non-Minnesota (reciprocity)" are now available. Non-Minnesota school districts can be specified here.

Service Plans (IEP, IIIP, ISP, IFSP & Amendments):

1. When printing individual pages of the 2008-09 IFSP, the "IFSP Meeting Date" will now be included at the top of the page.
2. For service pages, the ID and Name are now shown in the Provider and Supervisor pop ups.

Additional Forms:

1. The link to the "Alternate Behavior Intervention Plan" has been added back to the bottom of the 2008-09 Behavior Intervention Plan.
2. On the "Notice of Transfer of Parent Rights", the student's 18 birthday will be automatically calculated.
3. "Medical Documentation: ADHD" has been moved from the ER Forms menu to the Forms menu (just to the left of the Evaluation Report).

Administrators:

1. The "View All" option has been added back to the category list of the "Find" feature on the Educators page.
2. Two default "Custom" reports have been added (also available to teachers). They are " MA service dates on weekend" and " MA services on no-school days".
3. Users will no longer receive an error when adding MA access with the "Student Sharing" report.
4. An administrative preference is now available to "Hide 2007-08 progress report".

MA Forms:

1. On the Reconciliation Report, total minutes are now divided by the number of students in a group.
2. "Oral Language Interpreter Services" (T1013) will now import correctly on the 835 import process.
3. You can now submit CTSS Mental Health Claims with the U4HE modifier.
4. A Custom Report called "MHCP students w/o recent logs" has been added to help MA administrators find students who are MHCP eligible and do not have recent activity logs.
5.. A feature has been added to accommodate the submission of "Assistive technology claims". When searching for "Student claims" (formerly "View/Print Activity logs"), click on the link for "AT claims".
6. The "Signature on file" checkbox has been added to the "Student claims" (formerly "View/Print Activity logs") screen and "Signature on file" has been added to the search screen on the "Create eligibility transmission (270)" page.
