On Saturday, May 10th, 2025, an update¹ will be posted to all South Dakota SpEd Forms sites. The update will include the changes listed below:


IEP
1. The following forms are now available in the IEP menu:  Least restrictive environment (LRE), Description of services (Page 1), ESY Services, Related services (Page 2), State/District-wide Assessment Accommodations, and Measurable postsecondary goals.

Other forms and logs

1. Updates were made to the Parental prior written notice form.

2. The ‘Determination of eligibility/continued eligibility’ form is now available.

3. Eval/Reevaluation Parental Prior Written Notice Consent was updated.

MTSS
1. A new MTSS checkbox has been added to the SpEd Forms status on student setup pages and the MTSS dashboard filters.

Reports

1. The ‘School ID’ column has been added to the Child count report.

2. The new ‘SpEd Forms electronic communication language’ field is now visible on the “Parent access” searchable Admin report.

3. The Admin searchable report titled “Parent access report” now includes ‘plan manager’ as a search parameter.

1. Added a ‘Send Password Reset’ feature to Admin Educators, enabling admins to initiate password resets for educators.

2. Updates have been made to the customizations for the server (Admin organization → Preferences), district (Admin organization → Districts) and school (Admin organization → Schools) setup pages.
