MN July Updates

On Saturday, July 9th 2022, an update will be posted to all Minnesota SpEd Forms sites. This update includes the following changes:

IEP
1. A new District representative field has been added below the team members’ tables on both the Student Information page of the IEP and the Notice of a Team Meeting form.

2. Validation was added to check the order field on the Accommodations, modifications and supports page.

IFSP
1. Made a change to the Part C services grid when printed and finalized to arrange data in an easier-to-understand format.

MA
1. A Time study results form has been added to the student’s MA Forms menu in v2.0 only.

2. A new MA setting or place of service of “10:Telehealth (student at home)” has been added to the activity log per new DHS guidelines.

1. You are now able to turn off the Agreement to Amend form while maintaining the option to amend an IEP.

IFSP – Eligibility Determination, ECSE Referral for Screening/Evaluation, COSF: EHDI Information, Part C Notice of a Team Meeting, COSF Child Information, COSF Outcomes, Positive Behavior Support Plan, Behavior Intervention Plan, MTSS Evaluation, MTSS Review, MTSS Summary, Parent Letter: Initial IEP Denied and Parent Notification of Transfer to a Non-Public School, have all converted to v2.0.

System
1. The extended permission to hide “Student setup” has been added to all administrator and MA provider user roles.

Announcements
1. The IIIP (Individual Interagency Intervention Plan) has been discontinued.
2. To further protect you and your data, we will no longer allow Microsoft Office documents, including Word and Excel documents, to be uploaded to a student’s history or in a support request. Office documents can contain macros that can spread viruses and other malware. We took this step to prevent the spread of viruses and malware and protect all of our districts.
