As a Customer Service and Quality Control Specialist, you will quickly and accurately identify and assess individual customer needs via our support request system, calls, emails, and chat and take appropriate steps to satisfy those needs. You will assure the quality of software changes. You will solve problems following established practices and procedures.

What you’ll do:

  • Adhere to company procedures and policies.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the SpEd Forms product suite.
  • Clearly document software issues in Jira.
  • Clearly document support requests.
  • Behave and present in a professional manner consistent with job responsibilities.
  • Maintain a clean, efficient, professional and productive work environment in the company office or home office.
  • Function collegially with coworkers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in all customer interactions.
  • Manage customer follow-up in a timely manner.
  • Assure quality control of software changes.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues efficiently by troubleshooting technical questions and requests.

REQUIREMENTS

What you’ll need:

  • To be honest and ethical and work with integrity at all times.
  • To be a high school graduate with a minimum of two (2) years experience working in an educational setting. Post high school training in secretarial science or a related field preferred.
  • Candidates should have—or be capable of quickly developing—a foundational understanding of special education. Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable, and familiarity with SpEd Forms is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with general office productivity software (i.e., word processing, spreadsheet, database, browsers, email, etc.). Proficient with GSuite preferred.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrate organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, customer service and phone etiquette skills when dealing with customers.
  • Demonstrate appropriate human relations skills, judgment and discretion in dealing with customers, coworkers and supervisors.
  • Having a working knowledge of SpEd Forms is highly desirable.
  • To maintain confidentiality, adhere to FERPA and HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
  • If you choose to work from home, you must have a dedicated, distraction-free home office.
  • Occasional travel to company-sponsored events.
  • Your permanent residence must be in Minnesota or South Dakota.

Expected hours: 40 per week
