With the new school year underway, we know many districts are looking for ways to keep student information current while reducing duplicate data entry. We are offering an upcoming Back to School training that may be especially helpful for district technology staff and others who work with student data, imports, exports, or your Student Information System.
SpEd Forms Imports and Exports: Using Data to Reduce Workloads
Tuesday, August 25 at 10am CT/9am MT
This session will provide an overview of the data import and export options available through SpEd Forms, including both one time data loads and scheduled data exchanges.
Topics will include:
- Importing student and parent/guardian information into SpEd Forms
- File types and formatting requirements
- Using SFTP to securely transfer files
- Understanding the SpEd Forms import file structure and guidelines
- Options for one time versus scheduled imports and exports
- How to get started if your district is interested in setting up a data exchange
This training may be especially useful for technology directors, SIS administrators, data integration staff, or anyone responsible for managing student data between systems.
