Email 9/30/14: Annual MA Forms Workshop for new MA billers

Openings for our free, annual MA Forms workshop in Minneapolis on Tuesday, October 21st are available. This workshop is only for those new to MA Forms. The day will be led by Tonia Czech, Third Party Billing Specialist from SpEd Forms.

Please choose ONE session only to allow room for all interested users. Both morning and afternoon sessions will be for staff who are new to MA forms or new to MA Billing. Because we are only offering one MA workshop this fall, please limit your sign up to ONE per district.

With each session we will cover the topics below and allow time for specific district questions.
– Learn/review how to enter billing information.
– Setting up students on MA Forms
– Entering and submitting claims for MA Forms
– Importing batch responses (claims and eligibility) from the DHS
– Common MA reports

Users should choose between the morning session from 9:00am-12:00pm and the afternoon session from 1:00-4:00pm.

All registrants should bring a laptop computer (if possible), SpEd Forms server address, user name/password and MN-ITS log-in information. A free lunch will be served between the morning and afternoon session.

Email 9/30/14: Free WebEx for experienced MA billers

Openings are available for a free online WebEx meeting geared towards our experienced MA billing coordinators who want to review and learn more on how MA Forms can help you speed up MA billing. If you have been using MA Forms to process your medical claims for a couple years and want to know what else MA Forms can do for you, please register. This meeting will be hosted by Tonia Czech, Third Party Billing Specialist from SpEd Forms on Wednesday, October 29th from 9am-11am.

Maybe you haven’t tried the eligibility batch file or haven’t imported your remittance advice?! We will review some new features and reports and are also looking forward to tough questions and left-field suggestions to help us improve MA Forms!

Email 08/19/14: Free trainings

Whether you are using SpEd Forms for the first time or are a time tested super administrator, we have free training available for you! These trainings will be conducted by Tonia Czech at SpEd Forms.

New teacher training:
New teacher trainings are intended for case managers and support staff that are new to SpEd Forms. The three hour sessions allow new educators to get started using the program with ease.

Admin training:
Two hour Administrative trainings are planned for Super and District Administrators to provide an opportunity to view key administrative functions, learn the reasoning behind changes to SpEd Forms, share experiences and ask questions.

Following are the dates for August & September 2014:

WebEx New Teacher Training – 08/28/14 – 9:00am-12:00pm
WebEx New Teacher Training – 09/09/14 – 1:00pm-4:00pm
WebEx Admin Training – 09/18/14 – 9:00am-11:00am

*Districts are limited to ONE WebEx sign-in per training to allow space for all of those needing training. Administrator training is restricted to those with District or Super Admin access only.
