How do I send a student to another user?

  1. From the “Main Menu” click on “Students”.
  2. Click the student's name.
  3. On the “Form Menu” click the “Sharing/Transfer” button.
  4. Click the “Send this student to a new case manager” button.
  5. Send student to another user.
  • “Local” educators are users who share your SpEd Forms server. They are typically in your district or cooperative.
  • “Remote” educators are users who use a different SpEd Forms server. These users are typically outside your district or cooperative.

Sending the student to a new user

  • If you want to remove all access for other users (including yourself) when you transfer to a “Local” user, put a check in the “Reset sharing” check box.
  • After a new user is assigned, only the new user can set student sharing.
  • When you transfer to a “Remote” user, the student's information will remain on your server and the student will remain on your list.
  1. Enter search information into the “First name” and/or the “Last name” fields.
  2. Click the “Search” button.
  3. Find the new case manager in the search results. Look for users in your district in the “Local educators” section. Look for users in other districts in the “Remote educators” section.
  4. Click the “Send” button for the target user.
