How do I use a Goal Bank?

  1. Navigate to a goal page of a service plan form.
  2. Click the “Choose Goal/Objecives” button at the top of the page.
  3. Navigate the tree to the Area of Need and the sub-areas to find the goals you want.
  4. After selecting a sub-area, you can use the Search box to find any goal by entering a word or two or narrow down the list by selecting a grade
    • Only some goals have grades entered for them, and you can now specify grades for your personal goal banks as well.
  5. Once at the goal level you can directly insert a goal or expand the goal to see all objectives attached to the goal.
  6. You will be able to see the objectives added immediately and still interact with the goals page while working with the goal and objective chooser.
  • Just as before, choosing a goal will overwrite the current goal text.
  • If you have gone down the wrong tree, simply back up using the breadcrumb links at the top of the goal chooser to go back to the right level and continue searching. You don't have to restart your search if you chose the wrong option.
  • Goals are alphabetized and numbered.
  • Personal Goals will always appear at the top of the list, and have a small green tag at the top right corner of the box.
  • Until you save the page or leave it, the selector will remember where you were, so you can hide it, make any changes, and reopen it without losing your place.
    • Once you leave the page or save, it will forget and start at the beginning again.
