I am getting a message that a student can not be deleted because medical records are attached.

There are still activity logs for the old student that also need to be moved over.

  • Frequently the source and target students have the same name. Pay close attention to the student ID numbers. Make sure you are assigning the history document to the correct student.
  • If you intend to completely delete one of the students when you are done, consider slightly changing the name of the student you intend to delete. This will help keep clear which student you are working with.

How to assign activity logs to another student record?

  1. Go to…Admin reporting.
  2. Click on the Super Admin tab.
  3. Select Activity log search.
  4. Here you will enter the student's ID or name and then click Search.
  5. Click on the Change All link to the left of the name you want move the logs from.
  6. Enter the name or ID of the student you want to send the logs to and click Search.
  7. Click the Assign» button to the right of the page to move the logs to this file.

You can then delete your duplicate student.
